What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Other browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and techniques such as tracking pixels or scripts work in a similar way.
Under Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, information may be stored on, or accessed from, your device only with your demonstrable consent. The exceptions are technologies that are strictly necessary to transmit a message or to provide a service you have explicitly requested.

Our own cookies and storage: none
This website itself stores no cookies and no localStorage or sessionStorage data in your browser. It uses no analytics or marketing tools, no tag manager, no reCAPTCHA, no fonts from external servers and no embedded maps. All website files (images, fonts, scripts) are loaded from the vegacamion.eu domain. Language switching works through separate page addresses (/sk/, /en/ …) without storing any data.
That is why the website shows no consent banner: there is nothing to decide. The only exception is the YouTube video described below, which loads only with your explicit permission.
When you submit a form (quote request, parking), our server records a hash of your IP address, which is used for 20 seconds to protect against bulk submissions. This is a technical record on the server, not a cookie in your browser. Processing of form data is described in the Privacy Policy.
External technology requiring consent: YouTube video
The About us page contains a video hosted on YouTube. The player does not load automatically. Instead, a preview image from our own files is shown together with the button “Allow YouTube and play the video”. Only after you click it is the Google (YouTube) player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Clicking is your consent for this single page view.

What happens after you allow it: your browser sends Google your IP address, the address of our page and information about your browser. Google may store cookies and storage data (localStorage) in your browser for the domains youtube-nocookie.com, youtube.com or google.com, especially once playback starts, which happens automatically after your click. Google states that in this mode it does not store information about visitors unless they play the video.

If you do not allow the player, nothing is loaded. You can also watch the video directly on YouTube in a new tab, where YouTube's own rules apply.
Links to other websites
The website contains ordinary links to external services and websites (Google Maps, Mapy.cz, YouTube, Facebook, websites of partners and supported events). They open in a new tab only after you click, and nothing is loaded from these services before that. Once you visit them, their own cookie rules apply.
Legal basis
- Storing information on your device and accessing it for the YouTube video: your consent under Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. You give it by clicking the button next to the video.
- Personal data processed by Google when the video is played (for example your IP address): consent under Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Google acts as an independent controller.
- Strictly necessary technologies under the exception in Section 109(8): the website uses none.
How to change or withdraw consent
- Consent to the YouTube player applies only to the current view of the About us page. We do not remember your choice; the next time, the preview and the button appear again.
- You can remove the player at any time with the button “Remove the YouTube player” below the video. The website then stops communicating with YouTube.
- We cannot delete cookies and data that Google has stored in your browser. You can delete them in your browser settings (site data or cookies management) for the domains youtube.com, youtube-nocookie.com and google.com.
- You can set your browser to block third-party cookies. This website will continue to work.
Demonstrability of consent
Demonstrability of consent is ensured by the technical design: the player cannot load without a click on the button, and the website is static, so its source code can be verified. We keep no individual consent records, because that would require assigning you an identifier and storing further data, contrary to the principle of data minimisation.
Changes to this information
If we add further technologies requiring consent to the website (for example analytics), we will update this document and ask for your consent before they start, through a consent banner with an option to refuse. More about personal data processing: Privacy Policy.
